Got Mik?

Jess and Daph again, always only the 3 of us. There's supposed to be 6 of us from JC class 01s01, but ever since 100 years ago, the other 3 seemed to have disappeared. Xiaoxuan is perpetually having exams (medicine okay, don't play play..), Yihui is constantly busy with work, while KianLi is stuck to her boyfriend 24/7. Haha girl, getting all ready to get married?? Hmmm not only Kian, our dear Daphne is also a housewife-in-the-making!! She even flew to Beijing to meet her dear's parents. Oh my god.........!! Hahaha but hey, don't misunderstand, I'm really happy for you! I know all that you have went through, and finally flowers are blooming on your side. =) Flowers on your side too, Jess! Like they say, every cloud has a silver lining.

I love our conversation over dinner at Sketchers. I had my favourite pasta- white wine + cream sauce + lots of fromage!! Ultimate combination.. *Slurp* We talked about everything under the sun (or moon)! From studies to work, from boyfriends to jerks, from politics to science, from past to present. The most meaningful gathering I had in a long time. I am getting quite sick of meeting friends whom I'm not really close to, and having to rack my brain for things to talk about. Mik don't like to patronise, don't like to entertain. It's high time I take a break from the parties and entertainments for a while. A little little while. hee.



After Daph left, Jess and I headed straight for TCC. Haha eating again! We just couldn't hold back our temptations for desserts. The chocolate cakes are mind-blowing!! *Imagine me running across a field, pulling my hair off. Yes, like that * THE SWEETER, THE BETTER!!! Their hazelnut cappuccino is surprising delicious too. A really good hangout place with good food and ambience. Most importantly, the price is certainly affordable too. No wonder the outlets are expanding like nobody's business.



Err.. I was getting a little cranky that night. Maybe you can tell from the photos. I was bloody idiotic! How could I have come up with the idea of mimicking her. hahaha.

Last Saturday, I managed to organise a gathering for s16, another JC clique. =) The turnout was not bad, 6 out of 9. HUIYI!!! We miss you alot! hahaha though I know you don't really read blogs now, but still, I want to scream for you! COME BACK TO EARTH AND MEET UP SOON!

By the way, Cafe Cartel at Raffles City has the worst service I have experienced in recent months. They are snails which are waiting for the cows to come home! Slow in seating us, slow in serving food, slow in getting the bill and even almost forgot to return us our change. I shall not go back there again. Booooo...



Yeah finally I'm wearing skirt! Ever since I started working in lab, it's a must for us to wear long pants every single day. Which means it's jeans and tees for me from Mon to Fri. haha so weekends I must doll up, if not I will not be doing justice to all my clothes! hahaha..

Brandon bought this notebook which is the A4 version of that in Death Note. The most fascinating thing is that the book actually contains all the rules written in the original Death Note! How cool is that?!
